Otolaryngology (ENT) Training Program
The Otolaryngology (ENT) Training Program offers comprehensive exposure to both clinical and surgical aspects of ear, nose, and throat medicine. Trainees will work in both the polyclinic and operating theatre, gaining hands-on experience in patient examinations, surgical procedures, and interdisciplinary discussions. The training includes opportunities to observe real cases, interact with senior doctors, and deepen knowledge of the latest techniques in ENT.
Training Content:
The program covers a wide range of ENT topics, ensuring that participants receive in-depth exposure to both aesthetic and medical surgical procedures, including:
Aesthetic Operations:
- Septoplasty/Rhinoplasty
- Double Chin Removal
- Prominent Ear Surgery
- Tonsillectomy
Ear Surgeries:
- Tympanoplasty (Eardrum and Middle Ear Surgery)
- Stapedectomy (Middle Ear Calcification Surgery)
- Mastoidectomy
Salivary Gland Surgeries:
- Parotid Surgery (Facial Salivary Gland)
- Submandibular Gland Surgery
Head and Neck Tumor Surgeries
Advanced Surgeries:
- Cochlear Implant Surgery (Bionic Ear Implant)
- Brain Stem Implant
Methodology:
- Clinical Exposure: Attending patient examinations to understand different ENT conditions.
- Surgical Observations: Observing real surgeries and procedures in the operating theatre.
- Mentorship: Trainees will be attached to senior doctors, learning through their experience and insights.
- Departmental Visits: Trainees will visit different departments, observing the routine functioning and case management.
- Case Discussions: Regular discussions with senior doctors on cases, treatment plans, and clinical decision-making.
